Nikola Yankov, Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Expat Capital, will emphasize this particularly topical issue.

Who is Nikola Yankov?

Nikola Yankov founded Expat Capital in 2006 and has been a managing partner in the company since then.

He held management positions in international companies in the period 1995-2001, including Kraft Jacobs Suchard and Solvay Sodi.

He was Deputy Minister of Economy from 2001 to 2003, where he was responsible for the development and regulation of the industrial sector and chaired the Commission for Interim Trade Safeguards.

From 2003 to 2005, he was Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, where he was responsible for state-controlled companies in the transport and telecommunications sectors, as well as for attracting private investment in infrastructure projects such as airports and ports.

In 1994, Nikola Yankov graduated in consumer economics from Cornell University in the United States.

He speaks English, Russian and French.
