Retail sales in the United States rose 0.9 percent in April from March, driven by car sales, while fuels declined, AFP reported.

Total sales amounted to 677.7 billion dollars, according to data from the Ministry of Trade.

This is 8.2 percent more than in April 2021.

Retail sales in March were revised up to 1.4 percent instead of the previously announced 0.5 percent.
