"Yesterday, the CEO of Twitter publicly refused to show evidence of less than 5% fake and spam accounts. This deal cannot continue until it does," Musk wrote on Twitter.

He added that his $ 44 billion offer to take over the company was based on the presumption that Twitter documents to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) were accurate, with Musk calculating that the involvement of counterfeits and spam accounts in user data is "much higher" over 20%.
