The price of gas in Europe in the course of today's trade fell below $ 1,000 per thousand cubic meters for the first time since February 23, according to data from the London Stock Exchange ICE, quoted by TASS.

The price of futures for May in the TTF hub in the Netherlands reached 947 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters or 85 euros per megawatt-hour.

Overall, the price drop is about 11.1 percent and is due to warming weather in Europe, the active filling of underground storage facilities and stable supply flows from Russia, TASS reported.
