Fuel prices continue to rise.

Over the past three months, gasoline has risen by 53 cents per liter, according to data from the FUELO platform.

You can see how gasoline prices have changed for the quarter.

At the beginning of January we paid an average price of BGN 2.41 per liter. In March, however, we have an increase of over 30 stotinki.

And today the average price reaches BGN 2.94 per liter, BTV reports.

Gasoline rose by an average of 30 cents per liter or 11% in March.

Diesel is sold over BGN 3 per liter

The rise in the price of diesel is even more noticeable - for the last three months we have been paying almost 60 stotinki more per liter.

If in February the growth was about 10 stotinki per month or BGN 2.55, today its price already exceeds BGN 3.

Economists predict that fuel prices will remain around BGN 3 per liter in the coming months.

One of the main factors influencing prices is the war in Ukraine.

If it ends, experts say the sanctions will continue to affect prices for three to six months.

And because of the overall change in the European Union's energy balance, no return to old fuel prices is expected so far.

The trader Julian Valchev reports one third less drivers on the speakers than at the beginning of the year.

"Those who are from salary to salary, pour 20/50 levs. Massively charge a specific amount to earn until the next receipt of money, not charged to the top, as before," said Valchev.

At the Sofia gas station, the price for petrol and diesel still does not exceed BGN 3 per liter.

Fuel prices in Bulgaria are currently the lowest in the European Union, according to the Bulgarian Oil and Gas Association.

"The average price for the European Union per liter of diesel is BGN 4.05. The average price for gasoline in the EU is BGN 4.

In the medium term, things are not so optimistic because demand is still higher than supply.

This leads to higher prices of raw materials, and this leads to higher prices of our speakers, "said Svetoslav Benchev, Ch.

Lawyer of the Bulgarian Oil and Gas Association.

"Inflation is breaking records.

In the Eurozone by March on a yearly basis was already 7.5%.

In Bulgaria we had the last 10% on an annual basis for February.

"Even if the war stopped now, we could feel the effect of a stabilization of prices in the summer or autumn of this year at the earliest," said economist Rumen Galabinov.

The optimistic forecast of the experts is a possible decrease of just under BGN 3 per liter.
