Strong opening of Sensex-Nifty.

Mumbai:

The domestic stock market has seen a good jump on Tuesday on positive signals from global markets.

The market had regained strength in Monday's trading, since then the market is on the rise.

Today the Sensex climbed more than 200 points in the opening.

Nifty remained close to 17,300.

At 09:16, the Sensex opened with a gain of 209.38 points or 0.36% at 57,802.87, while the Nifty gained 63 points or 0.37% to open at 17,285.

The realty index registered a gain of 1 per cent.

The Sensex was at the level of 57,756.05 at 10.03 in the morning, it had gained 162.56 points or 0.28%.

At the same time, Nifty was at the level of 17,281.65 points.

The index was rising by 59.65 points or 0.35%.

Based on 30 shares, 25 shares opened in the green on the BSE.

HDFC, UltraTech Cement, Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki were the top gainers in the shares.

On the other hand, shares of Dr Reddy, ITC, Tata Steel, NTPC remained in losses.

SBI Life Insurance, UltraTech Cement, Maruti, HDFC Life were on the rise on Nifty, while ONGC, Coal India, Dr Reddy, Eicher Motors saw a decline.


If we talk about the previous business, on Monday, recovering from the initial fall, closed with a gain at the end of the business.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty gained 0.40 with gains in shares of Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel, which have strong stake in the index.

The Sensex closed at 57,593.49, up 231.29 points, or 0.40 percent.

Nifty also closed at 17,222 points with a gain of 69 points or 0.40 percent.
