Gazprom continues regular transit gas supplies to Europe via Ukraine

Gazprom continues to supply Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine as usual, the holding's spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov told reporters, quoted by TASS.

Gazprom is supplying Russian gas through Ukraine in line with requests from European consumers - 104.7 million cubic meters on March 21, he said.

As of March 20, the applications amount to 106.6 million cubic meters.

This volume practically corresponds to the supply of long-term provisions for gas transit through Ukraine (about 109.5 million cubic meters per day).

Gazprom has not reserved additional gas export capacity in April today through the Sudzha and Sohranovka checkpoints in Ukraine, Reuters reported.

These capacities complement the quantities under long-term contracts when there are inquiries from customers.

The two tenders for capacity reservation through Sudzha and Sohranovka have been canceled without giving any reasons, according to data from the European Regional Reservation Platform (RBP).

Two other auctions for April - through Velke Kapusani on the Slovak-Ukrainian border and for the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline to Poland and Germany - will take place later in the day.
