What does Putin really want and what will happen if Ukraine loses, TSN.ua journalists reported exclusively.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi spoke frankly about the situation at the front and admitted when a new Russian offensive is possible, how the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to stop the Rashists in the winter and why it may not succeed again.

What does Kremlin leader Putin really want and what will happen if Ukraine loses, read on.

Critical situation

"We need help now!". President Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave a loud, but not at all positive forecast for the next few months of the war! In an interview with CBS News, he noted that the enemy is currently pressing and, regardless of anything, continues its offensive, "destroying entire cities and villages." Despite the lack of ammunition and equipment, Ukraine managed to stop the enemy's onslaught in the winter, losing only Avdiivka. In June, when the Russian Federation massively attacks again, it may not work out that way.

"We need help now": Zelensky says Russia's offensive is brewing

Zelenskyi admitted that the invasion of Russian troops, as well as their, as it sometimes seems, endless stocks of rockets and projectiles, have already led to the destruction of "some populated areas."

"We didn't have shells, artillery shells, a lot of different things," he said.

According to him, the offensive of the Russians is expected around the end of May or in June.

"And before that, we need not only to prepare, we need not only to stabilize the situation, because partners are sometimes happy that we have stabilized the situation," Zelenskyi said about other partners of Ukraine. "No, I'm saying we need help now."

Ukraine lacks artillery

There is another kind of problem at the front. In addition to the fact that the Russians have more ammunition, their artillery also hits at a greater distance. Zelenskyi says that this difference is 20 km and it is extremely noticeable at the front. In addition, Russia has only one effective tactic — to erase populated areas from the face of the earth.

"Usually, when they attack with artillery, they destroy villages, and after that they always try to occupy it," Zelenskyy said.

"We don't know what will happen tomorrow. That's why we have to prepare."

Air defense is badly needed

Ukraine desperately needs American help! First of all, we are talking about artillery, which is lacking in the Armed Forces, but not only that. The latest devastating missile attacks, as well as strikes on front-line cities and villages by Russian anti-aircraft missiles, showed that Ukraine needs the latest air defense systems capable of shooting down the latest aeroballistic missiles such as "Dagger" or "Zircon", as well as destroying Russian bombers even before the launch of guided aerial bombs. Additional Patriots could handle that.

Zelenskyi gave an interview to journalists in Sumy Oblast, where Russian shelling has increased many times over the past months. Ukraine has already demonstrated that it can shoot down Russian birds near the front.

Zelensky appealed to the United States

Zelensky also made a statement regarding the delay in US aid. Let me remind you that the Congress is still blocking the draft law, which provides for 61 billion dollars for Ukraine. Without this money, Ukraine cannot receive weapons or equipment from the USA. Many in America, in particular Trump supporters, say that Washington already spent too much money on Ukraine. Zelenskyi has an argument for this as well.

"Tens of billions remain in the US," he said.

"Let's be honest, the money that Congress gives, the administration, in most cases 80% of that money — well, at least more than 75% — stays in the U.S. These munitions come to us, but the manufacturing takes place there, and the money stays in the U.S., and taxes remain in the US"

"Yes, this is a huge support, but it is needed," the president added.

Putin is going to restore the USSR?!

If Ukraine loses, Putin will go to Europe! Zelensky is sure that the dictator's main dream is to restore the borders of the USSR. All the former Soviet republics, as well as the former "allies" of the Reds in Europe, are just small satellites in Putin's view.

"For him, we are a satellite of the Russian Federation. At the moment it is us, then Kazakhstan, then the Baltic states, then Poland, then Germany. At least half of Germany. Even tomorrow, missiles can reach any state. This aggression and Putin's army can come into Europe, and then the citizens of the United States, the soldiers of the United States will have to defend Europe because they are members of NATO."

Is Putin "offended" by the civilized world?!

Putin, according to Zelenskyi, is a deeply offended person, moreover, not only against Ukraine, but also against the USA! "He will not forgive you for the 80s and 90s," the president said. That is, he will not forgive the Americans for the collapse of his beloved Soviet empire.

Zelenskyi about the terrorist attack in Crocus

Zelenskyi was also asked about the recent terrorist attack in the suburbs of Moscow. He says that Kyiv was not surprised when Putin accused Ukraine of organizing the fight in Crocus. Zelensky is convinced that this is how Putin will try to motivate and unite Russians.

"Even after ISIS claimed responsibility!" Zelensky was surprised, calling Putin's insinuations "ridiculous."

"He doesn't care if it's a terrorist act, or an economic act, or the oil industry, or any of these areas," Zelensky said, accusing him of "using it to unite his society as much as possible — even that that has In Moscow, with so many victims and wounded, he uses all this for one purpose only, to justify that Ukraine does not exist."

It will be recalled that on March 28, the Ukrainian president spoke with the leaders of Ukraine's partner countries. The president called the main topic of the conversation the protection of life and international security.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported on the newly appointed head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Ivashchenko.
