Lyudmila's husband, Dmytro Chichera, disappeared in Mariupol two years ago when he was rescuing people.

The woman resumed his business in Cherkasy - volunteer space "Halabuda".

Lyudmila believes that her husband will return and see that his most important business in life continues to work.

This is reported in the story of TSN.

The woman said that her husband survived in Mariupol

Several families from Mariupol - Lyudmila Chichera with her younger son, mother-in-law and friend settled in one house in Cherkasy.

Lyudmila's husband, Dmytro Chichera, head of the "Halabuda" volunteer space, remained in Mariupol.

Together with the team, he tried to save people.

Thousands of people passed through "Halabuda", where they received food, water, blankets, warmth, shelter, basic coordination.

When the city was already in ruins - on March 16, Ludmila had a short conversation with her husband.

"I asked why you're not leaving? I'll be here until the end and I shouted into the phone - until whose end," Lyudmila recalls.

And the next day, the connection with Dmitry disappeared.

Already later, Ludmila collected information piece by piece from her acquaintances who managed to escape from Mariupol.

"There was an "arrival" not far from "Halabuda", Dima went out with a first-aid kit to see if everything was okay. And in fact, no one saw him anymore," the woman says.

His colleagues combed the neighborhoods around "Khalabuda" in between shellings.

They were helped by Dmytro's shepherd - Marta, who managed to evacuate her from Mariupol only at the end of March.

Dmytro was not found like that.

"No matter how strange it sounds, I really hope that he is in captivity, because there is not much choice here," Lyudmila says.

What does "Halabuda" do

Two years of no clue, no news.

But no matter how difficult it was for her, Lyudmila continues Dmytro's business.

And together with the team, he is building a small piece of Mariupol in Cherkasy.

The main direction of work of "Halabuda" is the restoration of reconnaissance drones from the front.

The team that repairs drones on a volunteer basis consists of a lawyer, a PR specialist, and an accountant.

Valeria's task is to disassemble and clean the "Mavik", and the boys are already soldering.

Valeria has a lot of other things to do at "Khalabud", but she says that working with her hands, firstly, speeds up the queue for repairs, and secondly, it is her direct contribution to victory.

Valeria is waiting for a man who was captured in Mariupol.

This small team repairs over 60 reconnaissance drones a month.

The cost of copters ranges from 70,000 to 300,000 hryvnias.

When Ludmila calculated how much money was saved for the Armed Forces, the whole team was surprised.

"We calculated that somewhere on average

 86-89 million hryvnias

", - says the volunteer.

The son of volunteers plans to defend Ukraine

She would like to tell her husband so much - about the successes of "Halabuda", about how Dimina's mother volunteers non-stop and in her 70s bakes goodies for the hospital and sews for the military, but most importantly Ludmila would like to tell Dmytro about her sons.

Anton is graduating from university this year.

After what the Russians did to Mariupol and their family, Anton decided to join the army.

"The university ends in the summer and I'm going to Azov. I don't understand how you can't either help or take a direct part in the war now," says the boy.

Lyudmila says that no matter how difficult it is, she respects her son's decision and would really like Dmytro to know about it.

In two years of volunteering, she saw many incredible stories that no screenwriter could have invented.

Every time Ukrainians who had the status of missing come out of Russian captivity, her heart beats faster.
