The army added in a statement:
Last week, an operational exercise was held that included supplying logistical supplies by air and land under the leadership of the Technologies and Logistics Authority and in cooperation with the Northern Command, the Air Force and other units of the Land Arm.
During the exercise, the forces trained to transfer emergency equipment, water, fuel and ammunition to the maneuvering forces engaged in combat on the northern front.
The exercise included loading and unloading equipment carried by Air Force aircraft and transporting the equipment by vehicles on the ground.
Since the outbreak of the war, seven air logistics operations have been completed by the Hamarom Brigade's Air Supply Unit, during which approximately 110 tons of supplies were brought in for the maneuvering forces in Gaza.
As for land, thousands of other logistical operations were completed by logistical convoys.
The army is ready to carry out similar operations on the northern front as well, with high intensity and under fire if necessary.
