Military commentator Denys Popovych listed ways to counter Russian guided aerial bombs.

And the first is the action of anti-aircraft defense.

This was discussed in the conversation of military commentator Denys Popovych with the journalist of "24 Kanal".

According to him, the effect of air defense is that long-range systems could shoot down enemy carrier aircraft of these KABs outside their launch range.

The second method, according to the expert, is to strike the places of dislocation.

According to him, both drones and operational-tactical missiles can be used;

"We can strike with drones, but operational-tactical missiles are ATACMS. Again, there is a question about US assistance," he explained.

And the third - F-16 fighters with air defense missiles with a range of more than 120 km.

Thanks to these missiles, it is also possible to shoot down the KAB carriers outside the range of the launch of these bombs.

"But we are expecting the F-16, so there is only air defense. Shooting down is the only means at our disposal, in principle," Popovych added.

It is known that the Russians actively use anti-aircraft missiles, because they are cheaper than missiles, and have medium or high accuracy and high power.

They can be fought with EW and air defense systems, as well as destroy the carriers themselves.

F-16 fighters would greatly help counter the KABs.

It became known that the Russian occupiers are reducing the activity of assaults in the Zaporozhye direction.

Meanwhile, the Russian Federation is attacking Ukraine with new powerful weapons.
