The Argentine provinces of Buenos Aires and Santa Fe were hit by a strong storm that began on Friday night.
Heavy rain, hail and
wind gusts of more than 100 kilometers
per hour caused power outages, overturned trucks, downed trees and damaged cars and buildings.

On social networks, users publish videos and photos of the hail storm in Rosario.
Images show palm-sized hailstones causing dents in cars and even shattering vehicle windows.
The storm left the towns of Junín, Lincoln, San Nicolás, Baradero, Arrecifes, Ramallo and Pérez Millán without electricity,
as a result of a failure in the high-voltage electrical system, the Electrical Energy Distribution Company (EDEN) reported.

The electricity supply has been restored in some locations, but in San Nicolás work continues to restore it.
"In this context, all the staff of San Nicolás plus crews that have arrived from other branches are working in coordination with the living forces of the city and the municipality, to attend to the most urgent cases, supply energy to essential services, electro-dependent and potential risk situations on public roads," EDEN said.
Strong gusts of wind on Route 9, which connects the Argentine capital with Rosario,
caused two trucks to overturn, which in combination with low visibility and difficult weather conditions interrupted traffic.
One of the vehicles was removed after more than an hour and a half, but the load was left scattered on the road.

In San Nicolás, the Expoagro facilities, an open-air agro-industrial exhibition, were destroyed.
Videos from the scene show stands collapsed and scattered on the ground.
The fair authorities announced that entry to the site to dismantle the stands left after the storm will be prohibited this Saturday.
Likewise, Expoagro pointed out that no person who was in the exhibition during the storm was injured and that the only damage that has been reported is material.
