Russia announced an attempted drone attack on its territory on the night of March 8.

It is claimed that drones were shot down in the Belgorod and Volgograd regions.

This was reported to the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

The enemy agency has already traditionally declared that during the night the attempts of the "Kyiv regime" to attack objects on the territory of the Russian Federation with aircraft-type drones were stopped.

The Ministry of Defense claims that regular air defense equipment shot down one drone

and another 11 UAVs were destroyed.

Later, the ministry reported that already in the morning, air defense equipment shot down four more apparently Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Volgograd region.

Note that on the same night, Russian troops massively attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones.

Air defense forces destroyed 33 out of 37 drones launched by the enemy.
