Military analyst Petro Chernyk shares the opinion of the Lithuanian special services that Russia has enough resources to wage war in Ukraine at the current intensity for at least two more years.

He substantiated this assumption with calculations of enemy equipment destroyed in two years of war.

The expert spoke about this in an exclusive interview

with TSN.ua.

"Let's sort it out on tanks.

We destroyed more than 6,600 tanks, plus or minus.

At the start, the Russian Federation had about 3,400 regular vehicles... However, open sources claim that there are 12,000 to 15,000 different armored vehicles in warehouses, and there are sources that say all 20,000... Let's take 15,000 ... we divide it by 3. Why by 3?

Because they cannot build new cars, they will take 3 old ones and use them to make 1 normal full-fledged one... We have 5 thousand.

We have already entered the third year: we destroyed 6 thousand.

We understand that plus or minus up to 2 years in terms of armored vehicles, they have a reserve," explained Petro Chernyk.

According to him, the situation is the same with enemy artillery.

"We destroyed more than 10,000 barrels.

5.5 thousand was their standard ammunition at the beginning of this war... They have up to 10 thousand more in their warehouses.

So, approximately during the 2 years of the war, we destroyed 50% of their potential, but another 50% remains.

So we calculate that in this part they have such a margin of strength", - calculated the expert.

According to Petro Chernyk, the loss of personnel of the Russian army since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in relation to the mobilization resource in the Russian Federation also indicates the possibility of the Russian occupiers to conduct combat operations for at least another two years.

It will be recalled that the military observer Oleksandr Kovalenko also believes that the aggressor state can maintain the intensity of hostilities for no more than two years on old reserves.
