The former deputy, referring to his sources, spread information that Valery Zaluzhnyi was probably dismissed from the post of supreme commander of the armed forces.

"My sources from the president's office informed me that Zaluzhny has been dismissed from the post of commander-in-chief!

I really want the information not to be confirmed.

A lot.

But already a second source says so," writes Bereza.

Ukraine finds 'many violations' in surprise inspections of military supplies

Correspondents of the Ukrainian media are frantically checking the information, having already sent inquiries to the relevant departments to confirm or deny the news.

They recall that Valery Zaluzhnii held a telephone conversation with the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Weslaw Kukula.

The military discussed the training of Ukrainian fighters in Poland and the exchange of combat experience.

In addition, on January 16, Valery Zaluzhny held a conversation with the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer.

This happened on the eve of the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council in a military format at the level of commanders-in-chief and chiefs of general staff.

Meanwhile, the following information appeared on the website glavcom.ua, cited as a statement by the Ministry of Defense:

"The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published a message that, without mentioning Zaluzhnyi's last name, said: "Dear journalists, we immediately answer everyone: No, this is not true." Users concluded that this was a refutation of information for the dismissal of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces".

There is currently no official presidential decree to remove Zaluzhnyi from office.
