Salaries in Kyiv remain the highest in Ukraine.

In the first month of 2024, they increased slightly and amounted to UAH 22,000. 

This is the median salary based on data from more than 62,000 job vacancies posted on the Work.ua job search site over the past three months. 

At the same time, from January 1, the "minimum" in Ukraine increased to UAH 7,100.

The next time it will increase on April 1, 2024 — to 8,000 hryvnias.

Who are they looking for in Kyiv?

As of today, 25,189 vacancies are posted on the job search site.

Most of all, in the capital, employers are looking for sales consultants, sales managers, administrators, cashiers and cooks.

As well as drivers, accountants, porters and baristas.

Who receives the highest salaries

Military personnel, IT workers, marketing directors and dentists receive the highest salaries in Kyiv. 

So, soldiers of various professions are offered an average of UAH 72,500.

Telecommunications engineers receive about UAH 71,000.

Sappers and UAV operators — UAH 70,000 each.

Among vacancies for the position of Team leader in Kyiv, the average salary is UAH 60,000.

Marketing directors are also offered UAH 60,000.

Dentists also have relatively high salaries — an average of UAH 55,000 and 1C programmers.

The same amount is offered for the post of Media buyer.

Ceramists and construction project managers receive 52,500 hryvnias per month.

About UAH 50,000 can be received by top managers and heads of sales departments.

What are the salaries of the military

More and more military vacancies are appearing on the job search site.

The Defense Forces are looking for a variety of people, both in combat and non-combat specialties.

A mechanic can serve as a mechanic instead of a machine gunner or an attack gunner.

A diesel engineer will repair engines, a gas welder will weld.

A clerk, a lawyer, a cook or an IT person will also do their job.

The average salary, i.e. about UAH 22,000, is offered in the capital to couriers, pharmacists, copywriters, decorators, English tutors, surveyors, photographers, editors, seamstresses, cooks, policemen, and others.

From UAH 15,000 to UAH 20,000: nurses, security guards, legal assistants, methodologists — UAH 15,000;

gas station operators, babysitters, speech therapists — UAH 16,000;

cashiers, hookah players, hotel administrators — UAH 16,500;

nurses, baristas — UAH 17,500;

porters, psychologists, sales consultants — UAH 18,000;

call center operators, storekeepers, embroiderers, plumbers — UAH 19,000;

anesthesiologists, forklift drivers, notaries, fitness trainers, radiologists, electricians — UAH 20,000.

Who gets the least

Librarians, teacher's assistants, parking attendants, music directors, veterinary doctor's assistants, sanitary workers, dishwashers, and maids are offered the least in the capital — on average, from UAH 9,200 to UAH 13,400.
