Kate Middleton met 8-year-old Myla Sneddon in 2021, when the girl was undergoing treatment for cancer.
Mila became the heroine of one of the finalist photos of the Hold Still project, which was supervised by Princess Catherine.

Alongside her message, Linda posted a photo of her daughter talking to Kate during their first meeting in May 2021 at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Kate and Mila became friends after the girl took part in the royal photo project Hold Still 2020.
During treatment, Mila and the princess kept in touch by phone, and in December 2021, the girl took part in a Christmas concert organized by Kate in Westminster Abbey.
On Kate's birthday in January 2022, Mila posted a Happy Birthday message for her on social media, and Kate replied, "Thank you, Mila!".
On Friday, let's recall, Kate and William were filmed in a helicopter when the family and their children went to Norfolk, where they will spend the Easter holidays.
